Apostle Ulysses Watson’s journey is evidence that a difficult beginning does not have the authority to cancel God-given purpose.

Raised by a hardworking single mother after his father left when he was two years old, Ulysses experienced poverty, instability and the pressure of growing up in challenging Los Angeles County neighborhoods. His grandmother’s church in Compton gave him an early foundation of prayer, but the search for identity eventually drew him toward the streets and gang culture.

During incarceration, his direction began to change. While working in the prison kitchen, he started writing and performing music that reflected his growing faith. What once centered on performance became ministry—a way to reach people who felt forgotten, overlooked or trapped by their circumstances.

Today, Apostle Ulysses is a recording artist, apostolic leader, entrepreneur, author and founder of Gospelled Up Company. Through music, ministry, media and community outreach, he is building a Kingdom-centered legacy that points people toward Jesus Christ and reminds them that their story is not over.
